Nice and absolutely perfect location as it's and right by dem gesamten Restaurant auch funktionierte and oldest Castle. Further, there's Royal William Yard a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel too. The building is very good and the rooms are reasonably large and beautiful. It has modern interior design and stunning view of the town.

I had a wonderful one-night stay during my Bavarian vacation at Schlosshotel Hellenstein. The suite offered a fabulous view of the castle, which I had requested in advance. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the amenities like a safe, a mini-bar, and coffee/tea making machines. The hotel's location in a beautiful area was simply marvelous and lovely.

Sunday breakfast finishes at 10.30 which meant that the breakfast offer was quite limited when we arrived at 10 (nothing had been refilled) and the staff were a little rushed as they needed to clear the tables and refresh the buffet for the brunch at 11.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. the property was immaculate and ideal for my stay. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. the location is fantastic, just a short distance from both the castle on the hill, which offers stunning views of the city, and the vibrant center of town. It truly is a perfect spot for exploring!

Great breakfast and beautiful view of the city

We were traveling with children aged 10 to 15, and they loved the pool and spa area, which was gorgeous! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On the downside, while advertising that children are free, they are only free to sleep and use the facilities, not eat breakfast: kids under 12 must pay 10 Euros, while those 12 to 15 must pay 20! I felt these prices were quite high for kids eating eggs and some fruit. I was miffed that this extra expense was not disclosed. The other disappointment was finding that the hotel is right next to a busy road. On the non-road side it is quiet and lovely, but on the road side, where our room was, it was too noisy to enjoy the balcony or open the windows at night. Regardless, we enjoyed the outdoor quiet side and the pool/spa/fitness area for hours. We walked on a path down to the lake and swam, and we were just a few minutes drive from the Wolfgangsee, where we swam and picnicked and watched the parasailers and windurfers ply back and forth. Overall, we really liked this hotel, but it was not completey ideal.

Noisy roadside location which affects those staying in rooms on that side. Extra fees for children eating breakfast.

the room was of high quality and the breakfast offered a wide range of options. the location, situated on top of a hill just a few minutes away from the city centre, was perfect. We also appreciated the well-maintained spa for hotel guests. For the price we paid, it's hard to find a better hotel in the area.
